Washington - Mount Vernon

Today we are visiting the home of George Washington.

Its nearing Xmas.... So you see Xmas trees everywhereeeeeee.

The thing about cold weather hor... Take off, put on, take off, put on.... ARGHHHHHH! The jackets, the gloves, etc etc.

Exploring the grounds.

They have people walking around the grounds dressed in the appropriate attire. So fun.

This guy was showing us how cocoa was made during those days. All the grinding just for 1 cup of cocoa drink.

Look at that cauldron... I can cook Megan in that!

That's the home of George and Martha Washington back there.

Can you imagine sitting on the porch of your home and looking out to a view like that?

That girl knock out liao... Poor mummy's grinning through the cramps in her arms.

We weren't allow to take pictures inside the house. The grounds were breathtaking and the time allocated for us was too short. We didn't even manage to finish exploring the place.

Washington... here we come!

We are going to going to spend 1 whole week in Washington. And this is going to be our last trip in USA... Boohoohoo.

Anyway, hubby and his classmates went ahead first. We took a later flight up with the other wives (cheaper lor, wat else?)

So they had to chance to go explore on their own since they reach in the afternoon.

We made it! In one piece! All the hubbies came to fetch and we took a train back to the hotel. Oh.. Can you see the tip of Megan's head? Hee hee...

Thanksgiving Dinner
